SkeleCore® FTS™ and Pull-Tight® Tensioned Systems
From mid-size to large diameters, SkeleCore tensioned systems are a lightweight, high-performance alternative to traditional ductwork. These fabric ducts hold their shape and deliver consistent airflow, even as system conditions change. No sag. No shifting. No performance drop when airflow cycles. Just engineered fabric duct systems built to do the job with clean aesthetics and easier installation across a wide range of applications.

How SkeleCore Works
Fabric tensioning applies consistent stretch across both the length and circumference of the duct. Traditional fabric systems rely on air pressure to hold their shape. When airflow drops, they sag, wrinkle and lose form. That leads to inconsistent performance.
SkeleCore eliminates that dependency with engineered internal tensioning. The system holds its shape with or without airflow, reducing movement to prevent visible sag and deliver consistent airflow from startup through operation.

Overview
Product Overview
SkeleCore FTS
FTS is designed for applications that demand the highest level of shape retention and airflow consistency. It stays round and stable with or without airflow, maintains uniform distribution along the full length, and eliminates sag, shifting and startup pop. It’s the right fit for longer runs, larger diameters, variable air volume applications and exposed environments where both performance and appearance matter. FTS is effective for up to ~100” diameters.SkeleCore Pull-Tight
SkeleCore Pull-TightPull-Tight is designed for smaller, simpler, straight-run applications. It’s an entry point into tensioned fabric systems, built for projects that need better stability and appearance than standard fabric systems without the full structural system of FTS. It improves shape retention, reduces startup movement, and delivers more predictable airflow in straight runs and standard layouts. It also simplifies installation by working with standard suspension approaches, making it a cost-effective performance upgrade for smaller to mid-range diameters.

Applications
Applications
Both systems are well suited as fabric ducts for warehouses and distribution centers, commercial buildings, manufacturing facilities, retail and big-box spaces, and gyms and fitness centers.
- SkeleCore FTS: typically right for larger open spaces, higher airflow requirements, long runs and applications where maximum stability matters most.
- SkeleCore Pull-Tight: better suited to standard commercial HVAC layouts,
straight runs and projects balancing performance with cost efficiency.
Key shared benefits
Both SkeleCore internally tensioned systems deliver the core advantages that make fabric lightweight duct systems a strong alternative to traditional ductwork.
- Lightweight design reduces structural load compared to metal.
- Faster, simpler installation with easier handling.
- Clean, round appearance with reduced sag and movement.
- Quieter operation with less system noise.
- No condensation or corrosion issues that are common with metal.
Comparison Snapshot
Working with Diameters Over 90"?
For ultra-large duct systems, SkeleCore ETS is an external tension fabric duct specifically designed to maintain shape, stability and performance at diameters 90 inches and above, where traditional systems reach their limits. ETS extends the SkeleCore platform into applications where metal duct has typically been the default, giving engineers and contractors a lighter alternative for large-scale projects that demand structural performance at extreme diameters.
