Hanger Suspension System

DuctSox engineers introduce the Hanger Suspension System - the HVAC industry's first of it's kind. DuctSox Hanger Suspension has now been expanded to include larger diameters and with our popular H-Track. This system adds sophistication to any fabric duct system using either tension cable or H-Track and the 3x1 or 4x2 hangers.

IMPROVED AESTHETICS
DuctSox Hanger Suspension System adds a whole new dimension in fabric duct suspension, adding character to your open ceiling with color and style. Standard hangers come in gray and solid style. Additional colors and styles are available (adding cost and lead time).





EASIER INSTALLATION
The DuctSox Hanger Suspension System requires either tension cables or track, and a series of hangers:

• 3x1 hangers attach to tension cable or H track at 12 o’clock

• 4x2 hangers attach to tension cabl or H track at approximately 11 & 1 o'clock
• D-Clasps connect DuctSox at 10 & 2 to each hanger end
• Snap clips or track sliders connect to cable(s) or H track between hangers

Because the 3x1 Suspension System utilizes a single cable, fewer knee braces are needed reducing material and labor costs. This can also apply to the 4x2 depending on the design.





SMOOTH START-UPS
Maximizes the open shape while deflated. This support allows for smoother and quieter inflation upon equipment start up. Compare inflate/deflate shapes of common fabric suspension systems.





COST ANALYSIS
Although the product was designed for performance and aesthetics, other benefits are easy installation and reduced overall costs.

This graph reveals product and estimated installation costs for the 3x1, Standard Tension Cable and Suspended H-Track Systems for various models. Considering additional costs of supports for Tension Cable, the new 3x1 Suspension will likely be the least expensive option.

The 4x2, our natural extension of the 3x1, allows the aesthetics of a project to be maintained using diameters larger than 48".
