 | Most Coronado, Sedona-Xm & Verona applications are low-maintenance installations, the system will typically not be laundered for extended periods of time. With the addition of S-Vents, complete blockage is not an immediate concern, however, it is important to note with mesh vents, any amount of blockage will result in additional flow restriction that leads to additional load to the unit. In these maintenance cases, we suggest including a pressure monitoring device to indicate when the DuctSox system is partially plugged and the system is operating inefficiently. This monitoring device may be something as simple as an inexpensive magnahelic gauge with a tap location. Regular monitoring and proper maintenance will result in a hygienic system that is operating efficiently.
Due to infrequent laundry - extremely soiled systems will require multiple more than one laundering. In our experience, we suggest contacting a local industrial laundering service equipped with larger industrial laundering equipment to clean the system properly. In severe cases, we suggest two or three wash and rinse cycles to remove buildup. In cases of extreme soiling, the fabric may become discolored as a result of the cleaning process. Laundering instructions; Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, machine wash cold gentle cycle, rinse thoroughly and drip or cool air dry. |

 | TufTex & DuraTex fabric is resilient to most chemicals, will not corrode and should stand up to any dirt or airborne particulate. For routine maintenance TufTex can be spray cleaned using a hose/nozzle and brush, however for a thorough cleaning laundering is suggested. Laundering instructions; Machine wash warm, rinse thoroughly, and drip or cool air dry. |

 | Maintenance is not a critical component of the life of a Polyethylene DuctSox System.
Polyethylene fabric is resilient to most chemicals, will not corrode and should stand up to any dirt or airborne particulates. In the event the system becomes dirty, we suggest removing the duct to spray clean with hose/nozzle and a brush.

Stat-X™

 | Stat-X systems designed using vents would typically be laundered less frequently as compared to systems designed without vents. This is due to the fact that systems that only use the fabric to distribute the air into the space have a higher filtering potential, which as a result, soils that fabric in less time. The maintenance schedule is determined by the amount of airborne particulates in the environment and the HVAC filtration system. As the fabric becomes soiled and the vents become blocked the system will become less effecient and require maintenance. Laundering instructions; Machine wash warm, rinse thoroughly, and drip or cool air dry. |

Microbe-X®

 | Microbe-X fabrics are typically used in refrigerated and food processing environments as a Low-Throw Series DuctSox. Therefore, long term maintenance is a critical component of the life of this DuctSox system. If the fabric is exposed to dirt and bacteria for extended periods of time without laundering, it may cause premature failure. Setting up and maintaining a regular laundry program may add years to the service life of your DuctSox system.
Due to the demaning nature of most food processing/refrigerated environments the standard laundry period ranges from two weeks to 6 months (or more). To clean, simply remove by section, turn inside out and launder. Extremely soiled systems may require laundering more than once. Machine wash warm, rinse thoroughly, and drip or cool air dry.
