| DUBAI, United Arab Emirates—DuctSox® Corp., a leading manufacturer of fabric HVAC air dispersion products based in Dubuque, Iowa, won a Silver Gaia Award for innovative and sustainable products at the Big 5 International Building & Construction Show held at the Dubai World Trade Center last November in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The prestigious GAIA construction and environmental competition reviews the world’s most innovative building product manufacturers under very stringent judging criteria and chooses only a select few winners among dozens of entries.

Most of the DuctSox line of HVAC air distribution products is capable of helping buildings earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) credits from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Washington, D.C. However, its newest product offering, 55-Percent Recycled Fabric, is the HVAC industry’s first duct fabric constructed of recycled materials for LEED certification.
