DuctSox Fabric Air Dispersion Products takes great pride in upholding the highest quality standards. Part of those high standards include regulatory compliance testing. Regulatory compliance and codes are generally governed by a regional code body. In some instances, individual cities have a regulatory code body. Product testing is an on going process. UNDERWRITER'S LABORATORIES (UL)
UL Classified / Certified to NFPA-90A

Requirements to certify are to pass the 25/50 Flame Spread / Smoke Developed requirements of ASTM E-84 (Tunnel Test). UL Classification ensures continued compliance for all products manufactured.

UL Classified to ICC: AC-167 (Acceptance Criteria for Fabric Air Dispersion Systems)

Listed fabrics are classified to ICC Evaluation Service AC-167, "Acceptance Criteria for Fabric Air Dispersion Systems." These requirements additionally include weight, air permeability, mold growth and humidity, high temperature - low temperature, erosion and pressure. Products investigated to AC167 are intended to be installed in accordance with the accompanying manufacturer's installation instructions.

Products meet the minimum requirements to pass the 25/50 Flame Spread / Smoke Developed requirements of ULC test method S102.2 "Standard Method of Test for Surface Burning Characteristics of Flooring, Floor Covering and Miscellaneous Materials and Assemblies".

Listed fabrics have been tested and found acceptable under the requirements of AC-167. These requirements additionally include weight, air permeability, mold growth and humidity, high temperature, low temperature, erosion and pressure. Additional requirements include an acceptable production quality program, comprehensive public design manual / support and continued compliance for all components.

Accepted Equipment for Meat and Poultry Facilities
Microbe-X
Our only fabric evaluated and approved for use in Meat and Poultry Facilities by the USDA (1995). Microbe-X has also passed the 25/50 flame spread / smoke developed requirements of NFPA-90A (test method ASTM-E84) per testing in an ETL laboratory.
